Charles Creshull Harrison, III, beloved son, father, brother, uncle and friend, died Sunday, Dec. 24, 2023, at his residence, at the age of 64.
Born in Marianna, Florida on October 22, 1959, to Charles Creshull Harrison, Jr. and Marianne Montgomery Harrison. He attended Marianna public schools, Howey-in-the-Hills Academy, and Auburn University.
Cresh had a big heart for helping those in need, often without recognition, and was very active in his community. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Cresh traveled many places around the world pursuing his passion. He had recently established his hunting camp in Greene County, AL, his mother’s home birthplace. He loved going there at every opportunity he had to enjoy the serenity and beauty of this beautiful place.
He was predeceased by his father, Charles Creshull Harrison, Jr. He is survived by his loving daughter, Hailey Anne Harrison, his mother, Marianne M. Harrison, sisters, Margaret Anne Evans (Emmett), Cile Snow (Larry), Ellyn Watford (Bill); nephews, Harrison Fant (Erin), Bryson Watford (Jessie), Sam Watford (Elizabeth); nieces, Kimberly Trammell (Allen), Lauren Davis (Drew), Palmer Fant, Sarah Anne Evans; three great nieces, Blair and Audrey Fant, and Miller Davis.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm CST, Thursday, December 28, 2023, at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel.
Graveside funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Friday, December 29, 2023, at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church Cemetery with Dr. Nathan Attwood officiating and James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
