Though Frank Eben Gullett Sr. never showed it, God saw him getting tired and called him to rest on October 25, 2022. He is preceded in death by his parents, Asa Augustus and Frances Randolph Gullett, as well as 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
Born in Duette, Florida on January 02, 1945, Frank’s love of the land continued to grow along with his love of the Lord and his love of family. Frank is a long-time member of Marianna Seventh Day Adventists Church, retired Sunland employee, and former cattle farmer with priorities revolving around God and family.
Frank is survived by his wife of 49 years, Patricia Lee Gullett and their children: Frankie and Amber Gullett, Chris Gullett, Christina and Jimmy Conrad, David and Stacy Gullett, and Eric and Jennifer Gullett; their grandchildren: Madison, Lane, Regan, Aaron, Logan, Brady, Austin, Allie, Samantha, Lacy, Emily, and Nathan; their seven great-grandchildren; his siblings: Evelyn Graves, Daisy Bryant, Susanna Faircloth, Paul & Jane Gullett, and James & Belva Gullett; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other people he loved.
Frank served in the Vietnam War as a combat medic and remained enlisted in the US Army from 1965 – 1971. Despite all of his travels with the military, he’s always called Florida his home and enjoyed being outdoors (except when the gnats were out). He was always willing to help a family member, a friend, a neighbor, or a stranger. He will be greatly missed.
The family will host a visitation at 1 pm at James and Sikes Funeral Home on Monday, October 31, 2022 in Marianna, Florida followed by a Celebration of Life at 2 pm where all who loved him are welcome to attend. Following the ceremony, we will immediately travel to the Lovedale Baptist Church for the burial. James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel will be directing.
