Willie James Snell

Willie James Snell, 75, of Echo, Alabama died Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at the Long Term Hospital at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, Alabama. A native of Dale County, Alabama, Mr. Snell had resided in Marianna for 25 years before moving to Echo three and one half years ago. He was a National Guard veteran and a retired employee of the Dolly Madison Furniture Company of Dothan, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eunice Snell and a brother Jerome Snell. Survivors include three sons, James Stanley and wife Sonja, Wayne Snell and wife Dawn, Norman Gene Snell and wife Alicia, all of Echo; one step son, Paul Thomas and wife Nadine of Jacksonville; one step daughter, Peggy Gebler and husband Ron of Tampa; one brother, Jerry Snell and wife Sylvia of Echo; a grandson, Stephen Snell and wife Christy of Ozark; one great granddaughter, Emily Snell; a niece Kim Windham and husband Richard; a nephew, Phillip Snell and wife Susie Graveside funeral services will be at 10 am Thursday, June 26, 2008 at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens with Rev. Roland Rabon officiating, interment will be at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 pm Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at Maddox Chapel. "
