William Andrew "Bill" Zink, Jr.

William A. "Bill" Zink, Jr., 63, of Compass Lake, died Wednesday, June 29, 2011, at Southeast Alabama Medical Center. A native of Pittsburgh, PA, Mr. Zink was a former resident of Sarasota and had resided in Jackson County since 2005. A US Marine Corp. veteran, He was self employed and well known in the aviation industry where he traveled world wide prior to being employed with Pemco World Air Services. He was preceded in death by his parents, William A. Sr. and Agnes Kancel Zink. Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Zink of Compass Lake; two sons, William R. Zink and wife Crystal of Texas, Michael C. Zink of Compass Lake; one daughter, Leah Zink of Compass Lake; one brother, Robert Zink of Virginia; two sisters, Donna Pacheco and husband Ed of Virginia, Marsha Zink of PA. Funeral services will 11 am Saturday, July 2, 2011 at First Baptist Church of Cottondale with Military Honors provided by Sneads American Legion Post 241 with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel in charge of arrangements.
