William Gordon Walden

James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel William Walden, 58, passed away at his home in Grand Ridge on Sunday, June 29, 2014 due to a lengthy illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow Walden and Minnie B. Walden, and a brother, Tommy Walden. He is survived by two sisters, Francis Cloud and Betty Lipford, and his children, Michael Walden and wife Savannah Walden, April Glisson and husband Travis Glisson, Travis Walden and wife Liresa Walden, and Kassidy Walden. He had eight grandchildren, Taylor, Dylan, Haley, Hannah, Heather, Megan, Gabby, and Hannah. He also had a very special dog named Lola. Services will be at 2pm Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel.
