William Floyd McCormick, 83, of Marianna died Saturday, September 14, 2013 at Jackson Hospital. Mr. McCormick was a lifelong resident of Jackson County. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Martin and Elizabeth Adkins McCormick, one brother, Roy McCormick and one sister, Lorene Cox. Survivors include his sisters, Kathy Blasi and Corene Jackson both of Marianna; one brother, Wilmer McCormick of Marianna. Funeral services will be at 2 pm Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel with Virgil Bruner presiding. Interment will follow at Lipford Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends from 1 pm till funeral time, Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at Maddox Chapel.
