William J. Cady, 64, of Marianna, Florida died Friday, July 30, 2021 at his residence.
William, known by his friends as Cowboy, was born March 30, 1957 to Jimmy and Katherine Cady in Syracuse, New York. Later in life he moved to Marianna, Florida and lived at the Peacocks Group Home, where he was the first male resident.
While living in Marianna, he went to JCARC's day program, loved playing video games on his prized PlayStation 3 and spending time with his friends, who became family. Every day he was dressed in his iconic western attire, including a cowboy hat, and no matter where he went he never met a stranger.
Funeral services will be at 10 AM, Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Marianna with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
