Willard Young "Bill" Woodham

June 17, 1921 — April 11, 2010

Willard Young "Bill" Woodham 88, of Cypress died Sunday, April 11, 2010 in Sims State Veterans Nursing Home of Panama City, Florida. Born in Holmes County, Mr. Bill had resided in Jackson County since 1946, was a US Army veteran having served in WWII and received a Purple Heart. He was a retired employee of Marianna Tractor Company and a member of Providence Baptist Church of Grand Ridge. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Pauline Faircloth Woodham; four brothers, Delmer, Bearl, Cecil and Dorsey Woodham. Survivors include his wife, Jeannette Woodham; two daughters, Cindy Taylor and Sean Branch all of Cypress; Vanessa Clark and husband Charles of Cottondale; one granddaughter, Tiffany Taylor; two sisters, Iris Mathews and husband J.D., Jean Motley and husband Bo; two brothers, Richard Woodham and wife Gail, Dean Woodham all of Bonifay. Funeral services will be 2pm Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at Maddox Chapel with Rev. Tommy Moore officiating. Interment will follow at Cypress Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm, Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at Maddox Chapel. "
