James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel Wesley Ryan Heffner, 38, passed from this life on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at his residence. Wesley is a native and lifelong resident of Jackson County. He graduated Marianna High School in 1995 and later attended Chipola College. Wesley was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. He loved Golfing, Nascar, Florida State and the New York Giants. He is preceded in death by his father, Melvin C. Heffner; grandparents, Melvin P. Heffner, Laverne Heffner, Charles Lockey Jr., Beatrice Lockey; cousin, Christon Williams. Wesley is survived by his mother, Brenda Lockey Heffner; brother, Eric Allan Heffner (Jennifer); aunt, Glenda Heffner Williams; uncles, Chuck Lockey (Susan), Calvin Lockey (Debra); Niece, Bella Heffner; Nephews, Charlie Heffner, Dax Moreno; cousins, Charlie Lockey, Anna Pawelczyk, Heather Cashwell, Chelsea Hagy and Clay Hollister. Funeral services will be Sunday, May 31, 2015, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of James & Sikes Funeral Home with Reverend Dr. Ted Land officiating. Burial will follow at Dykes Cemetery in Grand Ridge, Fl with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. Visitation will be Sunday, May 31, 2015, beginning at 1 p.m. until funeral time at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel.
