James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel Wayne Thomas "Cowboy" Morris, 66, of Kynesville passed away April 5, 2013 at his residence. Cowboy was born and raised in Kynesville, FL. He worked for over 15 years for Morris/Holley Timber Company. He was involved with the Jackson County Sheriffs Department over 20 years, leaving as a Lieutenant in 1990. He was involved with many aspects of the law enforcement in Jackson County and was very honored to be the first drug pilot for Jackson and the surrounding counties. In his early years he enjoyed racing #27 at Rocket Speedway, hunting here and in Colorado, fishing on the Chipola River and spending time with his friends. He lived a full life with honor, integrity and wisdom, never taking one day for granted. He was preceded in death by his parents Herbert and Nellie Morris, Brother Edgar Morris and Sister Jewel Morris. He is survived by his wife of 46 years Willie Mae Morris; Daughters, April Scarbary (Rick) of Davie, FL, Judy Dumas (Joey), Suzanne Donaldson (Bradley), one brother Buford Morris (Faye) all of Kynesville, FL; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Special Friends; Tommie "Redbug"(Roxanne) Lashley, W.J. "Sonny" (Sharon) Lashley, Joe (Anne) Barrick, Kenny (Cindy)Brock, Wanda Smitherman, the rest of the Sod Farm crew and the Redneck Yacht Club. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel with Joey Woodruff & Jason Quincey officiating. Interment will follow in Salem Free Will Baptist Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends from 5-7 Monday, April 8, 2013 at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel.
