Wayne Lockart

Wallace Wayne Lockart, 69, of Malone died Tuesday, May 1, 2007 in Malone. He was a native of Jackson County, U S Army Veteran, farmer and cattleman. Preceded in death by his parents, J. D. and Rossie Avery Lockart; his brother, Wilmer Lockart. Survivors include his sisters, Nell Love and husband, Buford of Lovetown, Al., Carol Harden of Dothan; nieces and nephews, Kay, Kerry, Kim Lockart all of Malone; Khristi Love Jones of Lovetown, Al., Michael Harden, Michelle Campbell both of Dothan; extended family Kitty Murdock, Rusty, Mary Carol, Marcy and Kyndal Murdock all of Malone; Gene and Sandi Murdock-Smith of Dothan, Al. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 3, 2007 at Friendship Baptist Church Malone with Rev. Harry Kinchen officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
