Wayne Dilmore

Carson Dewayne Dilmore, age 71, of Cottondle died suddenly at his home on December 17, 2021. Wayne, as he was called, loved his family and friends very much. Wayne owned and operated DILMORE MEATS for 50 years. He was a quiet, noble, caring man who loved his customers and was proud to serve them and formed many long lasting relationships over the years. He was an extremely hardworking person who took pride in his work.
He is survived by Dianne, his loving wife of 51 years. He is survived also by three wonderful children, Dawn Nguyen (Luan) of Tallahassee, FL, Stacy Smith (Keven) of Midway, AL & Cory Dilmore (Misty) of Inverness, FL. He thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his 6 grandchildren, Logan & Megan Nguyen, Drake, Lainey, & Colton Smith, & Rocky Dilmore.
He is survived by sisters, Hazel Ackermann , Kathy Dahl & Lynn Dilmore; one brother, Darrell Dilmore.
Wayne loved good home cooking, taking daily rides with his dogs, & traveling & seeing new places. His greatest passions were watching football, catching up with friends on Facebook, & watching every old western that he could find. Above all, Wayne cherished every moment he spend surrounded by his loving family. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him.
Private Services and a viewing were held Monday, December 20, 2021 at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel.
