Wanda Hamilton McArdle, 76, of Slocomb died Friday, July 12, 2024 at Flowers Hospital in Dothan.
Wanda was the sweetest woman you’ve ever met. These last few years she has spent her time at home with her husband Terry. Before that you might have saw her at Malone City Café, or Dothan Livestock Café where she worked for several years. She loved taking care of her cows and feeding any stray that happened to show up. She will be missed by many.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ottis & Lena G. Hamilton, and her brother, Dick Hamilton.
Wanda is survived by her husband, Terry McArdle; one daughter, Teresa Godwin (Joseph), of Ponce De Leon; one brother, Oscar Hamilton; sister-n-law Margaret Hamilton; two granddaughters, Candice Lipford and Courtney Sellers; four grandsons, Dakotah Lipford, Joseph C. Godwin, Jonathan Godwin, and Matthew Godwin; 12 great grandchildren; nephew, Jason Hamilton; two Nieces, Ashley and Amanda Hamilton.
Funeral services will be 10 AM Thursday, July 18, 2024 at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel with Rev. Alvin Roberts officiating. Interment will follow in Carpenter Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
Family will receive friends Wednesday from 5-7 PM at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel.
