Wanda Sue Jones Poole

Wanda Sue Jones Poole, 73 of Sneads, FL passed away December 25, 2024, after a short illness.  She was born in Chattahoochee, FL on June 21, 1951, to William Mark Jones and Audrey Millie Johnson Harris. 

She grew up in Panama City and Fort Myers, FL, but spent all of her adult life in Sneads, where she raised her children.  Wanda enjoyed spending time with her family, shopping or taking a trip to the beach.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Wayne Poole; her parents, William Mark Jones and Audrey Millie Johnson Harris; her sister, Trudy Marie Harris; and great-granddaughter, Wrenlee Reigh Martin.

Wanda is survived by two daughters, Michelle Powell and Joy Martin (Chris); grandchildren, Mindy Johnson (Trey), Shellsey Hefner, Dalton Martin (Sabrina), Austin Martin (Gracie); great-grandchildren, Milton, Nathan, Nolan, Autumn, Messer, Becket, Harrison, Colton, and Westin, due in February, 2025. She is also survived by three sisters, Ann McDaniel (WC), Mary Sanders (Robert), Sharon Frey (Kevin); two brothers, James Jones, Mark Jones; along with many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Monday, December 30, 2024, at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel with Rev. Juno Douglas officiating. Interment will follow in Welcome Assembly of God Church Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 prior to the funeral service.
