James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel Walter K. Nelson Sr., 68, of French Lick, Indianna died Friday, December 7, 2012 in Marianna. Walter was born on June 25, 1944 in Paoli, IN. to Walter Monroe and Pearl Lou Nelson. He was a resident of French Lick for 67 years where he was affectionately known as Jr. Mr. Walter was a truck driver and an auctioneer. He is survived by his wife, Sherry L. Nelson; two sons, Walter K. Nelson, Jr. and Michael W. Nelson both of French Lick, IN.; one daughter, Tammy Nelson of Palatka; two brother's, Robert Nelson and Tommy Nelson both of French Lick, IN.; one sister, Beatrice Middleton of French Lick, IN.; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Memorization will be by cremation with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel in charge of arrangemnets.
