Wallace E. Hasty

James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel Wallace E. Hasty, 74, of Bascom died Sunday, March 10, 2013 at Marianna Health and Rehab. Mr. Hasty was born in Donalsonville, GA., and has lived in Bascom since 1983. He served in the U.S. Army for two years and was Protestant by faith. He is predeceased by his parents, William A. and Fannie Mae Hasty. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Hasty, three sons, Charles Edward Hasty and wife, Genevieve of Perkins, OK, Clark William Hasty and wife, Jessica of Greenwood, Mark Andrew Hasty and wife, Amanda of Bascom; two brothers, Donald Robert Hasty and wife, Margaret of Jackson, GA, Jimmy Howard Hasty and wife, Norma of Bascom; and seven grandchildren: Jessica, Mitchell, Lucas, Jacob, Krista, Savannah, and Sarah. Service of remembrance will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at First Baptist Church of Bascom with Rev. Greg Roberts officiating. James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 12, 2013 from 5-7 p.m. at the residence 5398 Basswood Rd. Bascom.
