James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel Marianna, Florida 32446 Vonnie Rachel Griffis, 86, of Wildwood died Wednesday, Janaury 30, 2008 in Wildwood, Florida where she had lived for the past 3-4 years. Mrs. Griffis was born in Escambia County, Fl. but had lived in Panama City for most of her life. Survivors include two sons, Sherman Lee Griffis, Jr. and wife, Becky of Ellabell, Ga., Johnny R. Griffis and friend, Carolyn of Jacksonville, Fl.; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Sunday, February 3, at Cypress Community Church with Revs. Jerry Mears and Buddy Smitherman officiating. Burial will follow at Salem Free Will Baptist Cemetery in Alford with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
