She was a native and lifelong resident of Jackson County, retired as a Ward Supervisor from Florida State Hospital. Preceded in death by her husband, Grady Parker in 1991, a son, Baby Parker, her father, Mack Edenfield and two mothers, Clara Simpson Edenfield and Dosha Edenfield. Survivors include one son, Harold Parker and wife, Angela of Marianna; two daughters, Caroline Dalton and husband, Joe of Nicholson, GA., Linda Deese and husband, Rodney, of Marianna; two brothers, Carl Edenfield of Virginia Beach, VA., Ronald Edenfield of Grand Ridge; three sisters, Gwen Blocker of Quincy, Maxine Morris of Kynesville, Ima Jean Banks of Grand Ridge, Fl.; grandchildren, Milinda Giddy, Jeff Parker Dalton, Kimberly Bishop, Cassie Corbin, Corey, Isabella, Olivia and Gabrielle Parker; several great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 6, 2010 at Christian Covenant Church in Grand Ridge with Revs. T.A. Parker, Jim Gosnell & Larry Carnley officiating. Interment will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
