James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel Virginia C. Jordan, 88, of Marianna, died Monday, January 20, 2014 in Hot Springs, AR. Born in Clinch County, GA, Mrs. Jordan was a former resident of Altamonte, Springs, FL and had resided in Marianna for the past 40 years prior to moving to Arkansas to be with her daughter. She was a member of the Marianna First Baptist Church, past member holding offices in the Marianna Women's Club, Marianna Garden Club, The Habitat for Humanity. She gave much of her healthy years of service to the community. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, J.B. Jordan; her parents, Nathan and Verdie Carver; three brothers, Marvin, Kelly and Daniel; one grandchild, Thaedra. Survivors include one daughter, Pamela Piraux and husband Alain; two sons, Jamie, Julian and wife Debbie; one brother, Quillian and wife Teresa; one sister, Jeanne Hollon; four grandchildren, Stefan Piraux, Trae and Crissie Jordan and Rayna Jordan Kaye; several great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, all she loved dearly. Funeral services will be 10 am Monday, January 27, 2014 at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel with Rev. Dean McCoury and Rev. Gino Mayo officiating. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 pm Sunday, January 26, 2014 at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel.
