Virgil Ankney, 90, of Marianna, FL died Monday, August 3, 2020 at his residence.
Mr. Ankney was preceded in death by his wife, Cleressa and wife, Nancy.
Virgil served his country by enlisting in the Air Force for 12 years and also joining the Navy for nine years. Once he retired, he worked with Eastern Airlines as a jet engine mechanic. He enjoyed fishing, riding horses and watching western TV shows.
Memorialization will be by cremation with James & Sikes Funeral Homes Maddox Chapel directing.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Foundation or Emerald Coast Hospice.
