Violet Rae Baxley

Viloet Rae Baxley, 77, of Marianna died Sunday, October 19, 2008 at Marianna Health and Rehabilitation Center. A native of Santa Rosa County, Mrs. Baxley had resided in Marianna for the past 53 years and was a member of the First Baptist Church and retired as Nursery Director. Survivors include five sons, William Baxley, Jr. and wife Teresa, Thomas Baxley and wife Kathy, Joe Baxley and wife Debbie all of Marianna, Alan Baxley and wife Ginga of Greenwood, Glenn Baxley of Springfield, MO; four brothers, Carlton Ware and wife Ima of Milton, Fl, Frank Ware of Summerville, SC, John Ware and wife Simonne of Milton, Fred Ware and wife Melba of Jay, Fl; two sisters, Willena Getchell of Milton and Lessie Adams of Bagdad, Fl; eight grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Funeral service will be 10 am Wednesday, October 22, 2008 at First Baptist Church with Rev. Sean Brooks officiating, interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm, Tuesday October 21, 2008 at Maddox Chapel. "
