Verna "Miss Bob" Calloway Mcarthur

James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel Verna Calloway "Miss Bob" McArthur, 89, of Bascom died Sunday, November 4, 2012 at The Medical Center Enterprise in Enterprise, AL. She was born in Malone and lived most of her life in Bascom before moving to Enterprise in 2011. was retired from Sunland as a dietrician. Miss Bob was a member of Bascom United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Augusta McArthur, and her son, Robert McArthur. Survivors are three grandsons, Robert A. McArthur of Bossier City, LA., William Scott McArthur of Enterprise, AL., Steven Clayton McArthur of Montgomery, AL. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Nov. 7, 2012 at Bascom United Methodist Church with Rev. Bob Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church.
