Meadows, 57, of Marianna died Monday, October 4, 2010 in Jackson Hospital. A native of Wheeling, VA. Vanessa had resided in Jackson County for the past 34 years where she was employed as a dispatcher with the Jackson County Sheriff's Office and a member of Fire & Iron M. C. Station 202 Jackson County. Survivors include one daughter, Kathryn (Kat) Meadows and one son, Kevin Meadows and wife Sheena all of Marianna; a niece, Leslie Tucker and husband Gavin; former mother-in-law, Virginia Meadows all of Marianna. Service of Remembrance will be at 10 am Saturday, October 9, 2010 at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens with Rev. Lavon Pettis officiating. Entombment will follow in Chapel of The Pines Mausoleum at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends at Chapel of The Pines Mausoleum from 9:30 am Saturday until service time.
