Valerie Ann Tine, 74, of Bonifay, Florida died Thursday, July 20, 2023, at Southeast Health Medical Center.
She was born on August 2, 1948, to Julius and Margaret Jakelsky.
Valerie, affectionately called "Val-Ann-Tine" by her husband cared for her family dearly. Valerie loved Jesus and enjoyed His creation by gardening. It was no secret that Valerie appreciated receiving a gift, but also enjoyed spoiling others. She cherished "Her Johnny", children, grandchildren, and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Edward Jakelsky and Daniel Jakelsky.
She is survived by her husband John Tine; daughters, Angela Exley (Jim) and Theresa Chapman (Trevor Senior); grandchildren, Troy Exley, Shane Exley, Liam Chapman, Brooke Exley, Cale Exley, Riley Senior; brother Mark Jakelsky (Stacy); sister-in-law, Susan Jakelsky; and many nieces, nephews, and family.
The family will have a private memorial service to honor and celebrate her life.
