Trina Noreene Smallwood

Trina Noreene Smallwood, 74, of Marianna died Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Marianna Health and Rehabilitation Center. Born September 29, 1940 in Yakima, WA. Mrs. Smallwood was a 1958 graduate of Marianna High School. She was a former resident of Melbourne, Fl. where she served as Superintendent of Education at the Satellite Beach, FL United Methodist Church and was a member of the Audubon Society. Trina had resided in Marianna for the past 15 years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Marianna and enjoyed playing Bridge. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbur I. and Beverly Gahan Throssell. Survivors include her husband, Jesse D. Smallwood of Marianna; one son, Richard Smallwood of Port St. John, FL; one daughter, Lisa Pickell of Melbourne; two grandchildren, Trina Noreene and Lindsey Beth Pickell. Graveside funeral services will be at 2 pm, Saturday, May 16, 2015 at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens with Rev. Bill Elwell officiating with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 pm, Friday, May 15, 2015 at Maddox Chapel.
