Tommie Richard Boone

Tommie “Richard” Boone, 61, of Marianna, Florida died Monday, August 12, 2024, at South East Medical Center.

He was born May 23, 1963, in Marinna, FL to the late Tommie Edward “Bud” and Margaret Chafin Boone.

Richard graduated from Marianna High School class of 1981. He was always a hard worker and a dedicated farmer. He spent most of his time outdoors, when he wasn’t farming, he was fishing or hunting. If he had to be indoors, he was watching sports, especially wrestling, or at one of his favorite local restaurants.

He is survived by his sister, Myra Rhodes and her husband, Michael; their children, Bethany Ratterree (Jason), Katie Nicholas (Adam), Hannah Rhodes, Michael Rhodes (Desani), Abby Rhodes, Elizabeth Rhodes; along with numerous cousins, family and friends.

Graveside funeral service will be 9 AM Thursday, August 15, 2024, at Lipford Cemetery with Pastor Ronnie Wright officiating and James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.

Visitation will be from 7-8 PM Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel.
