Mrs. Guy was a native and lifelong resident of Jackson County, served as manager of Sears for a number of years, worked for the State of Florida. Most recently, she was a homemaker and a longtime member of The First United Methodist Church of Marianna. She is survived by her husband, Dempsey Guy of Marianna; two sons, Dennis Guy and wife, Leslie of Marianna, Greg Guy and wife, Cheryl of Bainbridge; two sisters, Johnnie Williams and Florice Williams; six grandchildren, Ashley, Adam, Taylor, Alli, Elleree and Hayden Guy. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, August 6, 2010 at The First United Methodist Church with Jill Wallace and Lavon Pettis officiating. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
