Timothy O'Brien, of Hastings, MN and Alford, FL, born on June 18, 1955, has sadly passed away on May 11, 2024, after a sudden battle with cancer.
With unbelievably heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our Father, affectionately known as Timo. He was under the care of his two sons at the time of his passing at his second home in Alford, FL.
Timo was born in St. Paul, MN to his loving parents, Joe and Marion O'Brien. He married his wife, Holly, in 1981 and went on to own and successfully operate the dealership his father had established in 1974 (Joe O'Brien Chevrolet and Cadillac), in Hastings, MN, until its sale in 2012. After which, Tim and Holly retired to Alford, FL in order to avoid the Minnesota winters and spend their time close to Tim's parents in Compass Lake.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Marion; wife, Holly; sister, Anne; and two nephews, Alex and Tim.
He is survived by his father, Joe; his two sons, Dr. Cavan O'Brien and Connor O'Brien; two brothers, Dan (Kim), and Terry (Jenna); two sisters, Barb (Fred), and Janet (Doug); brother-in-law, Cliff (Anne); numerous nieces and nephews; as well as a loving family pet, Aila.
No services are planned at this time, a private memorial will be held by the family at a later date. James and Sikes Funeral Home of Marianna, FL is in charge of arrangements.
