Theo Hobbs, Sr., 75, of Sneads, Florida died Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at Southeast Alabama Health Center.
He was a lifelong resident of Sneads.Theo loved to fish on Lake Seminole, quail hunting, setting sucker nets. He enjoyed making music with his family and friends. Theo loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. He attended Sneads Assembly of God Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willis and Meanry Hobbs; his wife, Brenda L. Hobbs; three brothers, Henry Hobbs, Otho Hobbs, Wallace Hobbs; two sisters, Joyce Blankenship, Carolyn Gregg, and grandson, Brandon Hobbs.
Survivors include, three sons, Theo Hobbs, Jr (Jana), Scott Hobbs (Joanne), Randy Hobbs (Katey); one daughter, Felicia Hobbs Merritt (Stacey); 11 grandchildren, Jordan Hobbs (Jessica), Alex Hobbs (Kayla), Lindsey Alford (Timmy), Georgie Pack (Trey), Tracy McClelland (Jason), Skyler Hobbs (Taylor), Kyle Chancey, Russell Chancey (fiancé, Alasia Eddington), Peighton Strawn (Hayes), Blake Baxley, Whitney Merritt; 22 great-grandchildren, Brantley Alford, Bowen Hobbs, Blakely Pack, Libby Kate Alford, Brenna Grace Pack, Bellamy Pack, Baylor Hobbs, Rylann Hobbs, Emma Grace McClelland, Ryleigh Hobbs, Kyleigh Chancey, Zooey Chancey, Max Chancey, Emily Chancey, Nathan Sadbury, Rusty D. Chancey, Ryker Hall, Ranger Baxley, Trystan Merritt, Brandon Nix and Landon Nix.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM, Friday, April 29, 2022 at Sneads Assembly of God in Sneads, Florida with Rev. Juno Douglas officiating. Interment will follow in Cow Pen Pond Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, April 28, 2022 at Sneads Assembly of God in Sneads.
