Terrie Sue Adams, 74, of Marianna, Florida passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, December 29, 2023.
Even though her health had been failing for years it was her joy for family, friends, and her pet dog (Spirit), that kept her fighting. Terrie was born in Marianna to Fedie Smith and Laura (Chuck) Batso. She was a graduate of Marianna High School and retired from the State of Florida.
Terrie was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Brenda Barron. She is survived by her husband, John David Adams of 55 years; daughter, Sheila (Robert) Booth; son, John Micheal Adams; granddaughter, Ashlee (Aaron) Walker; three grandsons, Brandon (Suzanna) Booth, Traice (Kenna) Adams and Wyatt Adams; six great-grandchildren, Madi and Emma Walker, Aevan, Addy, and Judd Booth, Marshall Adams; two brothers, Al (Kathy) Smith, Tim (Edna) Smith; sister, Lydia (Dave) Tyburski, along with several nieces and nephews.
At her request no public service will be held. James &. Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel are in charge of arrangements. If anyone would like to make contributions in her honor, please donate to Emerald Coast Hospice, Marianna, Florida.
