Teresa Elaine Skipper

Teresa Skipper, 59, of Alford passed away Friday, June 27, 2014 at the Signature Healthcare at the Courtyard in Marianna. Born in Tokyo, Japan, Mrs. Skipper had resided in Jackson County for the past 45 years. She was an LPN and a former employee of the Brookwood Nursing Home and the Signature Healthcare at the Courtyard. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald S. Smith, Sr.; a brother, Donald S. Smith, Jr. and a sister, Virginia Langford. Survivors include her husband Ferrell E. Skipper; a son, Casey Skipper and wife Tanya; three grandchildren; her mother, Patsy R. Smith, a sister, Marcia Smith all of Alford; four nieces and four nephews. Funeral services will be at 3 pm Monday, June 30, 2014 at James & Sikes Funeral Maddox Chapel. Interment will follow at Alford City Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends from 2 pm Monday, June 30, 2014 until funeral time at Maddox Chapel.
