She went to be with her Lord on December 18, 2014. Also preceding her in death are her brother, John Lee and father-in-law, Rev. James Gilbert. Awaiting in heaven, she leaves behind her loving husband of 22 years, Nolan Gilbert of Deatsville, Alabama; sons, Christopher (Lynda) Lee and Jonathan (Julie) Adkison; daughter, Whitney (Billy) Moore; grandchildren, Chasidy Lee, Justin Lee, Jackson Moore, J.T. Adkison, Liam Moore, Erin Adkison and Joseph Moore; brothers, Bobby Lee and Thomas (Gloria) Lee; mother-in-law, Opal Gilbert of Marianna; sister-in-law, Linda (Bill) Neel of Grand Ridge, Florida; brother-in-law, Blaine (Mindy) Gilbert and numerous friends. Graveside funeral services will be Monday, December 22, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Damascus Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery in Marianna with James and Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
