Steven Alexander Trent, 66, died Monday, June 14, 2021 at Jackson Hospital. He was born in Dodge City, Kansas on July 7, 1954 to Jackson and Evelyn Trent. In 1972 he graduated from Dodge City High School
Steve and his father owned and operated Trent Dirt Contracting in Dodge City for many years. Later in life, he owned and operated a dance club, Dancing in Paradise in Wichita, Kansas until he retired. He loved riding his motorcycle and was a member of the Goldwings Motorcycle Club of Kansas. Steve loved any kind of dirt track racing, NASCAR, traveling, dancing, and doing just about anything with his girlfriend, Myleena.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Evelyn Trent. Steve is survived by his girlfriend, Myleena Mesker of Altha, FL; children, Michelle Bass (Brian) of Colwich, Kansas, Sarah Trent of Wichita, Kansas, Jake Trent of Cheney, Kansas; grandchildren, Brianna, Bayli, and Jaysen; and one sister, Lyn Trent of Texas.
Memorialization will be by cremation. James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel are in charge of arrangements.
