Stephanie Elaine Ham, 48, of Malone, Florida passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at home surrounded by family.
She was born February 17, 1975 in Dothan, Alabama to Hayes and Ruth Shoemaker Ham. She was a member of the Malone Volunteer Fire Department for over a decade and was the first female to join the department. She also loved cheering for the Auburn Tigers and helping others. Her career included obtaining a Correctional Officer Certification and working for Jackson County Correctional Institution. In addition, she enjoyed working for JCARC, Florida Foundation Seed Producers, and Chipola College.
Stephanie was preceded in death by her father, Hayes Lewis Ham; maternal grandparents, Russell and Stella Shoemaker; paternal grandparents; Lewis Ham and Eula Mae Ham Dekle.
She is survived by her mother, Ruth Shoemaker Ham; partner, Monica Bolin; children, Payton Bolin and USMC Lance Corporal Alex Mathews; sister, Kimberly Ham King (Steven); and brother, Marcus Ham (Karen). She is also survived by all her aunts, uncles and cousins who loved her dearly.
Graveside funeral service will be 11:00 AM Friday, December 8, 2023 at Ham Family Cemetery, Malone, FL with Ed Ham officiating and James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
