Sirenna Renee Morgan, 58, of Cottondale, died Sunday, August 13, 2023, at her residence.
She was born March 10, 1965 in Jacksonville, FL to Herschel Ray and Sirenna Adams. She met Dale Morgan in January of 1986 and married in April of the same year. They were married for 8 years and lived together for 22 years.
Renee worked primarily as a waitress throughout her life due to her love of interacting with people and making them smile. She loved volunteering her time at school events and candy drives with her two boys and taking every opportunity to give back to people as much as she was able to. Renee loved spending time with her two grandkids in the form of card games, board games, and watching movies. She was an avid collector of teddy bears whether it be stuffed animals or figurines, she loved them all. Renee’s kids were her pride and joy and she never missed an opportunity to tell the world about them.
She was preceded in death by her father, Herschel Ray; stepfather, Royce Crews; sister, Anna Weatherford; nephew, Elijah Skinner.
She is survived by her partner, Dale Morgan; mother, Sirenna Crews; siblings, Michael Adams, Denise Forehand; children, Hagen Morgan, Cameron Morgan; grandchildren, Silas Sanders, and Asher Morgan.
Graveside funeral services will be 11 AM, Thursday, August 17, 2023 at Travelers Rest Cemetery, 632 Travelers Rest Rd, Samson, AL 36477 with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
The family will receive friends from 8-9 AM Thursday, August 17, 2023 at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel.
