Sharon Dale Foran Price

Sharon Dale Foran Price, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on February, 21 2025 surrounded by her loved ones. She was the cherished daughter of the late George Patrick Foran and Hazel Jeanette Foran.

A devoted and strong Christian woman, Sharon’s faith in Jesus was the cornerstone of her life. She lived with grace, kindness, and unwavering love, touching the lives of all who knew her.

Sharon had a special gift for nurturing life—not only in her family but in her love of flowers. With an amazing green thumb, she could bring beauty and vibrancy to any space. She also had a deep love for the beach, finding peace and joy in the sound of the waves and the warmth of the sun. Her passion for jewelry extended beyond personal appreciation—she dedicated part of her life to working in the jewelry industry, where she found joy in helping others find pieces that carried meaning and beauty.

She is survived by her loving husband, Lionel F. Price. Her two children and three grandchildren were her greatest joys. Her daughter Dale Rae Oppel (Scott) blessed her in becoming a grandmother with Caden Lee Oppel (12 yr) and Branteigh Rae Oppel (9 yr). Her son, Cody Foster Saunders (Sara), most recently added Evelyn Rae Saunders (8 months), who's giggles Sharon especially enjoyed. She is also survived by her step-children, Darby Price (Spencer), Cassia Rivera (Edwin), Daniel Price (Amy); step-grandchildren; Olivia, David, Eli, Cai, and Wren whom she loved dearly. Sharon also had numerous extended family members and friends who held a special place in her heart.

Sharon leaves behind her dear siblings, George Patrick Foran Jr. (Betty), Dianna Foran Chambliss (Wayne), Irene Jeanette King, and Walter Foster Foran. She was preceded in death by her beloved brothers, Johnnie Leon Foran and Steven Ross Foran, as well as her dear sister-in-law, Marlene Marie Foran. 

Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her. A celebration of her life will be 2 PM Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel. Burial will follow in the family plot in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. 

The family will receive friends from 1 PM until the time of service at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel.

Sharon’s faith and love will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched. She is now at peace in the presence of her Savior, rejoicing in eternal life.
