Scott Howard

August 2, 1964 — December 21, 2024

Scott Howard was born on August 2, 1964 to David and Ruth Howard in Kankakee, Illinois. Scott passed away on December 21, 2024, in the town of Grand Ridge, Florida. Scott was known for his humorous character and his free spirited attitude, he will be deeply missed. 

Throughout his life, he had three daughters and five grandchildren whom he loved very much. He worked hard as a linemen and was a proud member of the IBEW. He was a lover of classic rock and outlaw country music. He loved football and was a proud fan of the Miami Dolphin's and the Miami Hurricanes. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing and going out on his boat with his friends and family. Scott could talk to anyone and have them laughing within seconds of meeting them, he was always the loudest, toughest and funniest person where ever he went. 

His legacy will continue to bring a smile to those who were fortunate to have known him. 

Scott was preceded in death by his father, David Howard; his brothers, Ron Howard, John Howard, and Rocky Howard. He is also preceded in death by his nephew, Luke Howard.

He is survived by his mother, Ruth McCowien; his daughters, Lauren Foster, Leah Howard, and Libbi Lombardo (Giancarlo); grandchildren, Dylan Foster, River Ensley, Connor Hobby, Rocky Howard, and Cheyenne Howard. Along with many nieces and nephews. 

As we remember Scott, may we cherish the memories we shared with him and honor his life by living our lives to the fullest.

Memorialization will be by cremation with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel in charge of arrangements.
