Scott Michael Doherty, 40, of Cottondale, FL, died Monday, August 24, 2020 at his residence.
Scott was born on September 28, 1979 to the late John Wayne Doherty and Darlene Nancy Clement. Scott owned his own construction business and was very talented in everything he did. He loved his work and even more so, his children and family. He also loved watching football.
Scott was preceded in death by his father, John Doherty
Survivors include his two daughters, Jayden and Paighton; one son, Tate all of Cottondale; mother, Darlene Clement (Darrell) of Grand Ridge; two sisters, Kelli Vickers (Kurt) of Colquitt, GA and Megan Doherty of Middletown, DE; stepmother, Betsy Doherty of Middletown, DE; two nephews, Cason and Kinnon of Colquitt; along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A private service will be conducted at James and Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel with David Baldwin officiating, James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
