Sarah Helen Webb, age 84, of Sneads, Florida passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at her home surrounded by family and friends. She was born in Grangeburg, Alabama.
Sarah married the love of her life, Clinton H. Webb in 1957. They built a life together full of love and laughter. They spent much of their life in Sneads, Florida raising their family. They faithfully served their church, Rock Bluff Assembly of God for over sixty years. Sarah had the voice of an angel and enjoyed every Sunday she spent singing with the choir.
Sarah was a godly woman, a precious wife, mother and homemaker. She loved her family and enjoyed nothing more than having them all gathered around her dinner table. She loved to cook and spoil anyone she could, especially her grandchildren. Fishing was one of her favorite pastimes and she seldom let Clinton go without her. Sarah was often found tending her flower gardens, sewing, or putting puzzles together.
Sarah was preceded in death by her husband, Clinton Webb; her parents, Winfield and Clarice Pilcher; siblings, Joe Pilcher, Thomas Pilcher, Winnie Nell Ranew and Wanda Hussey.
Sarah is survived by her son, Kenneth Alan Webb and daughter-in-law, Monica Rendon Webb of Sneads; her daughter, Karen Lynn Mayo and son-in-law, Floyd Mayo of Gadsden, AL; her grandchildren, Kenneth Alan Webb, Jr. of Seattle, WA; Amanda Webb Betts (Royce) of Seattle, WA; Chad Mayo (Lanie) of Locust Grove, GA; Sarah Katherine McConahy (Chris) of Atlanta, GA; Brian James (B.J.) Webb of Gainesville, FL; great-grandchildren: Brody Fletcher Mayo, Presley Kate Mayo, Hannah Lynn Mayo, Jaxon Danger Webb, and Brett Weston McConahy; and sister, Maylon Jo Welch. She also had many nieces and nephews she loved dearly.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM EST on Sunday, October 22, 2023, at Rock Bluff Assembly of God Church with Pastor Steven Burdick and Reverend Clinton Hobbs officiating. Interment will follow in Rock Bluff Assembly of God cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel of Marianna directing.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 PM EST prior to the funeral service at the church.
