She was a native of Wausau and has lived in North West Florida most of her life. Sarah was a music teacher and a long time member of Christian Heritage in Tallahassee, but attended Christian Center Church in Marianna in recent years. Preceded in death by her husband, William Claude Herndon, Jr.; one sister, Vivian Marie Duncan of Chipley. Survivors include two daughters, LaTrelle Chrietzberg and husband, Doug of Atlanta, Susie Mayo and husband, Gino of Marianna; one sister, Lora Mae Redd of Pasadena, TX.; three grandchildren, Trey Lucy and wife, Katie of Charleston, S.C. and Tim Mayo and David Mayo, both of Marianna; five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 11 AM Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at Christian Center Church with Revs. Gino Mayo and Jack Hollis officiating. Private interment will be in Wausau Memorial Gardens with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
