Sandra Mae "Sandy" Ray

Sandra Mae "Sandy" Ray, 60, of Marianna died Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at Jackson Hospital. Born in Quincy, Florida, Sandy was a former resident of Tallahassee and had resided in Jackson County most of her life. She retired from the State of Florida as an Administrative Secretary. She was preceded by death by her son, Kevin Ray; her parents, Roscoe and Altie Mae Teems Shepard. Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Jerry Ray of Marianna; two brothers, David Shepard and wife Mary, Frank Shepard and wife Kay; one sister, Katherine Crawford and husband Jeff; one brother-in-law, Eugene Ray and wife Sally all of Marianna; one grandson, Haydn Ray of South Carolina. Funeral services will be 3 pm Thursday, April 22, 2010 at Maddox Chapel with Rev. Jerry Mears officiating. Interment will follow at Cypress Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends at Maddox Chapel from 2 pm till funeral time."
