Samantha Michelle Young, age 31, of Cottondale, Florida died Friday, December 9, 2022 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, AL.
Born on May 20, 1991 to Paul and Regina Ervin in Marianna, she was a lifelong resident of Jackson County. Samantha was a loving mother to her children. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Pete and Joyce Meredith.
Her survivors include two daughters, Alexis Nicole Young and Alicia Desiree Young and one son, John David Young, Jr., all of Cottondale; her mother, Regina Ervin of Alford; two sisters, Ashlee Perry (Will Melvin) of Marianna, Whitney Perry of Flintville, Tennessee and one brother, Jonathan Ervin of Alford; her father, Paul Ervin of Springhill, FL, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
