Ryals Baxter

Ryals Baxter, age 67 of Cottondale died Thursday, September 4, 2008 at Jackson Hospital in Marianna. Mr. Baxter was a longtime resident of Jackson County, where he worked as a Switchboard Operator at Sunland. Preceded in death by one daughter, Kathy Bolton Scott Survivors include his wife, Carloyn; two sons, Phillip Warren of Headland, AL, and Howard Bolton of Tallahassee; two daughters, Lynn Robinson of Atlanta, GA., Kimberly Johnson of Gretna, LA.; three brothers, Edward, Raymond, and Ross Baxter. 11 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren; Services will be at 10 A.M. Monday, September 8, 2008 at the First Free Will Baptist Church in Malone with the Rev. Jack Howell officiating. Burial will follow in Collins Chapel Baptist Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M.
