Roy Wayne Braswell

James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel 4278 Lafayette Street Marianna, Florida 32446 850.482.2332 Roy Wayne Braswell, died January 10, 2008 in Hospice Care in Atlanta after lengthy health problems. Wayne was a former resident of Jackson County, he served in the U S Air Force as a fireman. He was also a commercial truck driver for over 40 years. He was the son of the late Charlie and Sybil Braswell of Dellwood. He is survived by his son, Richard Braswell of Sneads, one grandson, Christopher Braswell of Starke; one brother, Richard Braswell of Atlanta; one sister, Betty Jane Messler of Jacksonville; two step grandchildren, Angel and Will Waldroff. Four nieces and two nephews. Memorial services will be held Saturday, February 9, 2008 at 11 a.m. CST at Welcome Assembly of God Church with Rev. Charles Jackson and Dr. Thomas Batts officiating. Food will be served in the church fellowship hall for the family and friends by the ladies of the church following the service.
