Rose Marie Jones

Rose Marie Jones, 48, of Silver Spring, Maryland, formerly of Malone, died November 7, 2008 at the Hospice Nursing Home in Silver Spring. She received a degree in fashion merchandising from the International Fine Arts College of Miami in 1986. She used her skills as an independent fashion model and also worked in the fashion merchandising section of the Miami Herald News. She ended her career in sales management. Survivors include her father and step mother, Roy and Mary Jones of Malone; her mother Linda Jones of Foley, AL.; a sister, Lisha Grainger and husband, Levi, of Marianna; a step- sister, Tina Parnell and husband, Wayne of Robertsdale, AL. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, November 17 at Friendship Baptist Cemetery in Malone , with Rev. Bill Wheeler officiating. The family will receive friends at James and Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel , Sunday; November 16 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
