Ronald Joseph Koetz

James & Sikes Funeral Home Ronald Joseph Koetz, 84, of Marianna, died Thursday, August 13, 2015. Ronald was born and raised in Illinois and had spent 39 years living in Marianna. He retired from Westinghouse, where he was a project manager. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirlee, his parents, Bertha and Tony, his father, Paul Burrus, his brother, Johnny Paul, his sister, Valerie and his great-great-grandchild, Remi Paschal. Ronald is survived by his children, Valerie Rhodes, Linda (Steve) Gastelum, Kevin (Beverly) Koetz, Kathi (John) Goodwin and Kurt (Susan) Koetz; 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren, all of whom he adored. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, August 17, 2015 at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel with Father James Thoyalil officiating. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services.
