Roger G. Tucker, 61, of Chattahoochee died Sunday, January 9, 2011 at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. A native of Graceville, Florida. Mr. Tucker served 22 years in the Florida Army National Guard and was employed with Gulf Power Company as the Operations Control Room Supervisor. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dorman Othel and Sibyl Irene Rolland Tucker. Survivors include his wife, Rose W. Tucker of Chattahoochee; one son, Jason Glenn Tucker and wife Elaine; one daughter, Kimberly Lynn (Sissy) Tucker all of Sycamore, FL.; one brother, Griffin Othel Tucker and wife Susan of Sneads; three sisters, Myra S. Butler of Slocomb, AL, Sibyl A. Wescovich and husband Wayne of Biloxi, MS., Carolyn Anderson and husband Jack of Inverness, FL.; The love of his life, his three granddaughters, Daphne Humphries, Ashlyn and Allison Tucker. Service of Remberance will be at 9 am CST Friday, January 14, 2011 at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Chattahoochee with the Rev. David Pipping officiating. Interment will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery with Military Honors provided by the Sneads American Legion Post 241 with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
