Robert Jay Watford

Robert Jay Watford, 76, of Marianna died Sunday, August 6, 2006 at his home. Mr. Watford was a lifelong resident of Jackson County and a military veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents,Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Simpson Watford a brother, Floyd Watford and a sister, Mary Agnes Cutts. Survivors include his wife, Gwen Herndon Watford of Marianna; 3 sons, David Watford and wife Dana of Pensacola, FL, Robert M. Watford and wife Donna of Glendale, AZ and Fredrick J. Watford of Graceville; 1 daughter, Sandra Kay Fuqua and husband Rob of Marianna; 1 brother, Fred Watford and wife Annette of Tallahassee; 1 sister, Mildred Harris of Tallahassee. Funeral services will be held 10:00 am Wednesday, August 9, 2006 at Selma United Methodist Church near Graceville with Rev. Chester Padgett officiating, burial will follow in the church cemetery. James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends 5 to 7 pm Tuesday, August 8, 2006 at Maddox Chapel.
