Robert H. Stone

Robert H. Stone, 69, of Sneads died Tuesday, June 3, 2008 in Marianna. A native of Altha, Mr. Stone had resided most of his life in Jackson County, he was a retired State of Florida Corrections officer. He was preceded in death by his parents Charlie and Arminnie Wood Stone; two brothers, Earl and Aubrey Stone; half brothers, Lonnie, Henry, Jessie, J.H., and George Stone; half sisters, Lomie Waldroff and Thelma Peacock Survivors include his wife, JoAnn Bailey Stone of Sneads; one son, Robert H. Stone and wife Vickie of Tallahassee; two daughters, Tina Harrell and husband Chadd of Sneads, Stacey Edenfield and husband Scott of Honolulu, Hawaii; three brothers, Dowling Stone and wife Shirley of Clarksville, Frank Stone and Wife Catherine, Lamar Stone and wife Mary all of Altha; two sisters, Margie Clemmons and husband Earl of Altha and Frances Stone of Marianna; one half sister, Christine Applewhite; five grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10 am, Saturday, June 7, 2008 at El Bethel Assembly of God Church with Rev. William Walker officiating, interment will follow at Pope Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Friday, June 6, 2008 at Maddox Chapel.
