Robert Norman Roesler, 69, of Marianna, died Sunday, August 13, 2006, at the Medical Center in Dothan, Al. He was a native of Dunkirk, N.Y., Mr. Roesler had lived in Marianna for more than 33 years. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict and he served as the Food Service Administrator for Jackson Hospital for many years. Mr. Roesler later retired from the Dept. of Corrections as an Administrator. He was a member of the St. Anne Catholic Church in Marianna. Survivors include his wife, Frances C. Roesler, of Marianna; three sons, Robert Roesler, Jr., and wife Sue of Dunkirk, N. Y., Michael Roesler and Richard Roesler and friend, Kathy Owles both of Marianna; three daughters, Toni Padgett and husband Mike of Marianna, Mary Johnson and fiance' Barry of Tallahassee, and Sandy Cole and husband Marshall of Augusta, Ga.; two brothers, Jack Roesler of Cape Coral, Fl., and Richard Roesler of Dunkirk, N. Y., one sister, Dorothy Cooper of Fredonia, N. Y.; fourteen grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Aug. 16, at 10 a.m. at St. Anne's Catholic Church with Father Sean Knox officiating. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens with full military honors by Sneads American Legion Post 241. James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel will direct. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Maddox Chapel.
